Yoga has taught us one of the most beautiful lessons: love starts from within. So often, we search for validation outside ourselves, believing love must be earned. But every time we step onto our mats, we’re reminded that we are already whole—just as we are.

Through asana, we learn to embrace our bodies, not for how they look, but for how they move, support, and carry us through life. Pranayama teaches us to use our breath as a tool—to calm our minds, to ground ourselves in the present, to remind us that we are enough. Dhyana (meditation) gives us space to sit with our thoughts, to listen instead of judge, and to offer ourselves the same compassion we so easily give to others.

Yoga is where we practice ahimsa (non-violence)—not just towards others, but towards ourselves. It’s where we begin replacing self-criticism with gratitude, insecurity with acceptance, and fear with love. And the more we practice loving ourselves, the more love we have to share with the world.

What to expect:
An intro to basic aerial yoga inversions & a variety of standing stretches utilizing the hammock. We’ll cover modifications & tips to combat any dizziness that may occur. The workshop will conclude w/ savasana in the hammock.

Although inversion exercises are beneficial for perfectly healthy people, they are not recommended for people with any of the following conditions or ailments:
• High blood pressure/ Low Blood Pressure
• Serious spinal or neck injuries
• Glaucoma
• Pregnancy
• Heart conditions of any kind
• Epilepsy

*If you have one of these conditions, we require a doctor's note with permission to practice aerial yoga.

Meet our fearless leader Polina. Polina is the founder of PRANA Yoga. Polina started practicing yoga in 2012 and used the practice as a means to reconnect with her mind and body after having her first baby.

Polina enjoys crafting fluid classes with creative sequencing aimed to build strength, leaving students feeling restored and energized. She believes in a functional approach to yoga.

Her mantra is "your body, your yoga." Polina completed her 200-hour certification with Bliss Body Yoga in 2019 and then furthered her studies in Yin Yoga with Bernie Clark in 2020.
